Pure London has announced that their day one keynote address for the Autumn/Winter 2020-2021 show will be given by British designer Dame Zandra Rhodes.
Dame Rhodes will be speaking on the Nomad stage in the National Hall of Olympia London to discuss ‘50 Years of Fabulous’
In 2019, Rhodes celebrates her Jubilee in the fashion industry. Visitors will hear her speak about the ups and downs of continuing to thrive in the fashion world, an offering the stories and insights of being in the fashion industry for half a century.
Rhodes marked her 50 years in fashion in September 2019 with a retrospective exhibition at the Fashion and Textile Museum, a book published by Yale and a collection for Spring/Summer 2020 entitled ‘The Jubilee Collection.’ The fashionista also announced future collaborations with the likes of IKEA and is currently working on her Autumn/Winter 2020 collection, which is to be shown at London Fashion Week in February 2020.
The new Nomad Stage, where Rhodes will be speaking, offers a dedicated platform for industry leaders, changemakers and personalities to discuss the most pertinent and significant global topics in the industry, share their stories, and offer practical business advice. Offering over 1,300 of the latest collections across the entire industry, visitors to Pure London and Pure Origin 2020 will get the opportunity to explore the entire fashion supply chain.
Pure London will take place from 9-11 February 2020, at Olympia London.
