Tarsus, a B2B media group, has announced its acquisition of Smarter Shows, a UK-based exhibition and conference organiser.
Founded in 2010, Smarter Shows has a portfolio of B2B supply chain exhibitions and technical conferences held in Germany and North America with a particular focus on the aerospace, automotive and materials industries. Events in the Smarter Shows portfolio include Ceramics Expo, Space Tech Expo, FOAM Expo and other similar events.

James Reader will become non-executive chairman at Smarter Shows post-acquisition, whilst joint managing directors Mindy Emsley and Emma Stokes will continue to run day-to-day operations from their offices in Brighton.
